Dr. Kwan completed family medicine residency training at McMaster University. Since the beginning of the pandemic, she has created COVID19 graphs & shared on social media to help Ontarians stay safe by translating data into easy-to-understand visualizations, using her Twitter handle @jkwan_md. She is a co-founder of advocacy groups Masks4Canada & Docs4LTCJustice. Most recently, she created 1010moment, a mental health initiative. Dr. Kwan believes in public education to empower everyone to understand their own health.
